What is sadaka?


We formed Sadaka, LLC in 2006 to develop websites and website content intended to provide valuable services to online users.


Making use of our experience in the biomedical engineering and photography industries enables us to provide consulting services and create our website content.


The word sadaka means charity in Swahili and Hebrew. One of our company's main objectives is to promote giving - to charities and to each other. In this spirit of sadaka, we donate a portion of our profits to various charities around the world.



Who we are:

Dudley Tabakin, co-founder:

Dudley has a Masters Degree in biomedical engineering and extensive experience in the 3D motion capture industry. He has worked on projects with companies such as NASA, Titleist, and VA and Shriners hospitals. He has consulted with top coaches in baseball, cricket, golf, and tennis to develop biomechanical models for research, injury-prevention, and performance. He worked for Vicon Motion Systems for six years and continues to consult to Vicon's software development team.

Dudley’s interests include: surfing, hiking, and basketball.

Dennis Ho, co-founder:

Dennis has a Masters Degree in biomedical engineering and extensive experience in the 3D motion capture industry. He worked for Vicon Motion Systems for four years as a senior application engineer. During this time, he worked on projects with companies such as NASA, Warrior hockey, and VA and Shriners hospitals. He has consulted with top coaches in baseball, hockey, and tennis to develop biomechanical models for research, injury-prevention, and performance.

Dennis’ interests include: tennis and basketball.

Dudley Tabakin has a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering and more than 10 years experience in the biomechanics and motion capture industry. He started in Biomechanics as the lead engineer and researcher in the development of the University of Cape Towns Sports and Gait Motion Capture Laboratory. He then went on to start SportsDrive a company that used motion capture to analyse the performance of athletes working with the South African and Dutch cricket teams, the South African Olympic, archery, javelin and shooting teams and some individula triathletes. In 2001, Dudley joined Vicon Motion Systems in Oxford, England and moved from there to California, USA. At Vicon, Dudley was the Senior Biomedical Applications Engineer specializing in Sports and Gait. Here he worked with companies such as NASA, Titleist, National Pitching Association, Warrior Hockey and numerous Gait laboratories. On leaving Vicon in 2008, Dudley joined up with Dennis to start Sadaka, LLC and offer biomechanics and motion capture consulting services.Clients include; Warrior, Titleist, National Pitching, Vicon, C-Motion, Innovision Systems Inc and other Motion Capture software companies.
